Check out these 15 Fabulous DIY Christmas Gift Ideas! Christmas is coming, and now is the perfect time to start thinking about what gifts you can make for your friends and loved ones. Therefore, I have put together a collection of my own tutorials for 15 Fabulous Handmade Christmas Gifts. There is everything from a dot-painted Christmas card, to stocking stuffers and beautiful crocheted scarves for both him and her!

Create a homemade Christmas card using dot painting. While I show how to dot paint a Christmas Tree in this tutorial, the technique could be used for any Christmas-inspired shapes such as a stocking, candy cane, wreath, snowflake, and more!
2. Crocheted Snowflake
What says Christmas more than snow! These beautiful crocheted snowflakes are perfect to use as ornaments, embellishment for wrapping, or as gifts. I have two separate tutorials for three different patterns. They are all very easy patterns to crochet, so these are great for those who are new to crochet…and if that is you, I have a wonderful Beginner Crochet Series as well.

Dishcloths make a perfect stocking stuffer! These crocheted dishcloths are very easy to make and have such a lovely pattern that looks very classy. Make several in assorted colors and wrap them in a pretty ribbon.
5. Cozy Crocheted Headband
This warm headband is absolutely perfect to give as a Christmas gift and would fit very nicely in a stocking. It is unbelievably easy and doesn’t actually use a lot of yarn, so is great to use up partial balls of yarn.
6. Luxurious Lotion Bars
These Luxurious Lotion Bars are so easy to make and are a lovely nurturing gift. Add your own blend of natural essential oils to make it your own, or use what I recommend in this recipe. Just take note, however…these lotion bars are made from ingredients that can easily melt, so if you choose to make them for a stocking stuffer, make sure the stocking these go into is not hanging on the mantle over a hot fire (or put this gift in the stocking just before opening).
7. Easy Crocheted Scarf for Beginners
If you are new to crochet, then this is the perfect project for you! It is a very easy beginner-friendly pattern, and the video tutorial makes it even easier! This pattern crochets up very quickly, so it is the perfect pattern if you want to make several scarves for Christmas.
8. Crocheted Scarf for Him
As we move through the list of 15 Fabulous DIY Christmas Gifts, I have the perfect gift for him! This crocheted scarf pattern is made using a lovely masculine stitch with a simple border free from any frills. But while this is suited for men, the pattern would also be lovely for women.
9. Super Easy Crocheted Scarf for Beginners
I do love to create simple patterns that are suited for beginners, especially designs that make you look like an expert! This is one such pattern. The pattern is very easy and can be created using any number of yarn choices. You can add tassels or not…it’s totally up to you! This pattern also crochets up quickly, so is great if you have a lot of scarves to make for Christmas!
10. Beautiful Crocheted Cowl Pattern
While this beautiful crocheted cowl looks like a complicated pattern, it is actually quite easy. While it may not be suited for a first project, after a bit of practice, anyone new to crochet could try this pattern. The yarn choice for this cowl really makes it a beautiful gift!

While pocket shawls are a lot more work than scarves or cowls, you may have someone on your Christmas list that you want to make something special for. This pocket shawl pattern is very easy to make and is perfect to use up your scraps of yarn. There is also the option to adapt this pattern to a scarf, so it is like two patterns in one!
12. Lavender Fields Pocket Shawl
This beautiful pocket shawl is a little more tricky to make and is suited for individuals who have some crochet experience. While the pattern itself is quite easy with simple stitches, it is important to have a good handle on your crochet tension. The ribbing is made using a tighter tension than the body of the shawl, which requires loose tension to start. I do have some suggestions on how to address this in the tutorial.

These crocheted coasters and hot pad set would make a wonderful Christmas gift, especially in the colors I use in the tutorial. Using cotton yarn is very important for this project because it is heat resistant. The hot pad could also be used as an oven pad and I show how you can add a simple ring to hang it on the wall.
14. Crocheted Bracelets
These crocheted bracelets are so much fun to make and can be made in any color you like! The pattern can also be extended to make this into a necklace. It crochets up very quickly and is a perfect project for young crocheters!
15. Bohemian Style Ribbon Necklace
I love these ribbon necklaces so much! There are so many possibilities with this design and I encourage you to use your own creative inspiration to make this design your own. This project can also be used to create ribbon bracelets…there really are endless possibilities.
