Easy Crocheted Cup Cozy

Learn how to make an Easy Crocheted Cup Cozy with the option of two button styles. These cozies crochet up very quickly and are the perfect last-minute gift item. They are also perfect to make as items to sell at craft fairs or online and are a great way to use up scraps of yarn.

Easy Crocheted Cup Cozy

Depending on the style of the cup, you can make the cup cozy with one button or two. If the cup tapers at the bottom, then using two buttons is a great option. This allows you to make the lower loop a bit smaller, so the bottom of the cozy is narrower than the top. If you are new to crocheting, then make sure to check out my Beginner Crochet Series for all the basics of this craft.

There is no written pattern for this project, but I do have a step-by-step video tutorial. I just think this Easy Crocheted Cup Cozy is so adorable and will make a perfect gift…especially with a nice ceramic mug and a few packets of hot chocolate inside. Or maybe with a lovely homemade herbal tea blend. Have fun!

I will be winding down my production of crocheted patterns and tutorials as I continue to struggle with health issues. It seems I am particularly sensitive to being on the computer, which makes this work very difficult. I do, however, have a lot of content here and on YouTube, so make sure to check out what is available. Check out the menu above for categories and I have playlists on YouTube that can help you find what you are looking for. Thank you for your support!
